Clinical Supervision for LPC Associates in Texas
Hi, I’m Norma Reyes, PhD, LPC-S, a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor with over 15 years of experience in mental health and behavioral health services. My clinical experience spans private practice, community mental health, complex behavioral health, clinical leadership, and working with diverse populations navigating a wide range of mental health and life challenges.
As an LPC-S, I provide structured, supportive, and developmentally focused clinical supervision for LPC Associates in Texas working toward full licensure.
My supervision approach is collaborative, reflective, and growth-oriented. I support associates as they move from graduate training into confident, independent practice while developing their own therapeutic identity. I believe supervision should be a space where you can ask questions, talk through challenging cases, receive honest feedback, and grow without fear of judgment.
Supervision Rate & Schedule
My supervision rate is $85 per hour.
Texas BHEC requirements currently call for LPC Associates to receive four hours of supervision per month. I offer flexible scheduling options based on your needs, caseload, and our availability:
Two 2-hour supervision sessions per month, or
Weekly 1-hour supervision sessions, for a total of four hours per month.
We'll determine the schedule that best supports your clinical development and licensure requirements.
What You Can Expect From Supervision
Clinical Support & Growth
We'll discuss your caseload, clinical questions, challenging situations, and areas where you want to strengthen your skills. My goal is to help you develop clinical confidence and sound judgment—not simply tell you what to do.
Ethical & Clinical Development
We'll explore case conceptualization, treatment planning, documentation, boundaries, ethical decision-making, and clinical interventions while keeping the needs and well-being of your clients at the center.
Professional Identity Development
Becoming a therapist is more than learning techniques. I'll support you in discovering your therapeutic voice, understanding your strengths, developing your professional identity, and identifying the populations and areas of practice that are meaningful to you.
Real-World Private Practice Experience
As a private practice owner and clinical leader, I can offer practical insight into the realities of outpatient therapy, including client engagement, documentation, boundaries, clinician wellness, professional communication, and navigating the business side of practice.
Culturally Responsive Mentorship
I value cultural humility, authenticity, curiosity, and self-reflection in clinical work. Supervision provides an opportunity to explore how culture, identity, values, and lived experiences influence both our clients and ourselves as clinicians.
My Goal as Your Supervisor
I want you to leave supervision feeling supported, challenged, and more confident in your ability to think and practice as a clinician.
You don't have to have everything figured out when you begin supervision. My role is to help you develop the knowledge, skills, confidence, and professional identity you need to become an ethical and authentic therapist.
I offer in-person supervision near Schertz and Cibolo, Texas, as well as virtual supervision throughout Texas. If you're looking for a supervisor who will provide both support and accountability while helping you grow into the therapist you want to become, I invite you to connect with me.
If you’re looking for a supervisor who will support your growth, challenge you thoughtfully, and help you develop confidence in your own clinical voice, I’d love to connect.
Whether you’re ready to begin LPC Associate supervision, have questions about my supervision approach, or simply want to explore whether we’re a good fit, please reach out using the form below. I’m happy to talk with you about where you are in your development and how I may be able to support you along the way. I’ll respond within 24–48 business hours.
